I am a self-taught photographer and worked commercially specializing in people and location photography for advertising and corporate clients.
My personal interests are in environmental photography and in the sociological and historical backgrounds of different ethnicities on Long Island. This interest has brought about projects of the historical studies, photographing, and interviewing of Polish, Irish and the Dutch of West Sayville, culminating in exibitions at various venues including Guild Hall in East Hampton, Nassau County Art Museum, Islip Art Museum, West Sayville Marine Museum, Polish American Museum, The Kosciuszko Foundation.
My environmental photographic interests have led me to different locations. One of the most memorable times being when my wife Fay, a painter, and I completed a project on various Hawaiian Islands depicting how two artists working in different mediums see and present the same location. All images in portfolios are of non-commerical work.
My current project is the deliberate photographic composition of cloud formations, next In my post processing digital studio using the digital tools available I create images that reflect my artistic vision.
